Scenes from the farm from last 48 hrs.. lettuce harvest continues to crank. We typically sell 80-100 heads per day in the peak summer months. These are Muir & Magenta; heat tolerant “French summer crisps or Batavian heads” Keep em fresh using wet burlap - which allows for evaporative cooling to maintain quality. Sunshine kabocha coloring up for September harvest. Ended the day with an evening transplant session; setting ~1500 heads in the ground for harvest in late September.
