What’s the current state of sending someone who doesn’t currently use crypto usdc? I know Coinbase wallet has a text send option, has anyone used this? How easy is it for them to then deposit $ into a bank account ? Want to send someone on instagram a gift and curios what the best way to do this is via crypto Cause I’ve never used Zelle, Venmo or cash app, and would rather not start.

One way is to see if the one receiving has family or friends who are willing to accept USDC on their behalf and send fiat to them.

Not sure there are self custody ways, I was looking into it earlier Potential opportunity for a product that can explain and give some easy ways to spend it or use in real world like with bitrefill, add to apple pay for spending and hundreds of ways to do something fun onchain

Hmm tough. The person will definitely have to use crypto 😅 Coinbase has a “share via link” feature You send the link to the persons dm He/she downloads the app and claims the money
