Maybe I was not up to speed; yet i thought it was already understood that Netanyahu knew about potential attack. Back when it happened my recollection is that he saw it as a way to garner support in the face of the protests against power consolidation.
Man I wish the world were somehow different and the Middle East wasn’t a forever mess that deals death, destruction, and horrible outcomes for so many.
