More rain on the way Tuesday evening/Wednesday so it seenedxa good idea to make a solid planting push tonight.
Started with lettuce mix and basil, then finished with lettuce heads, cilantro, and dill.
Hoping we get dry hours in the afternoon to finish the push before moisture arrives. Either way, tonight’s effort should hedge us well in case storms arrive earlier.
We’ve received ~9 inches over the past two weeks, and even our well drained soils are a bit saturated. If we get a big hit it would likely mean it will be too wet to plant til Friday/Saturday
So the veggie farmers version of make hay when the sun shines > plant when you get a dry window amidst a wet spell.
