We kicked off planting season in a rather glorious way. Hit 75 here on the Southcoast, and tilled soils were an impressive 60+ degrees late afternoon.
Cabbage, kale, lettuce heads, mix, arugula, choi, fennel, dandelion, chard, and parsley on the ground this afternoon.
Spinach & onions on tap for tomorrow.
This is Farao cabbage soaking in the end of the day rays.
A few sticky traps out to capture flies; we’ll row cover everything tomorrow to boost their growth with cooler weather returning next week.
Also killed a mosquito, not sure what random microclimate it was emerging from, cause April 14th is crazy…
