Life has taught me if you have to make a toast and you don't know what to say to just raise whatever liquid holder you have and say what it is and what is inside then say cheers.
"This is beer in a glass. cheers!"
People will just say "cheers" after and you're good. They won't question what you said because they were just waiting for the cheers part so that they can complete the tradition.
