WHAT IS BASE APP (BETA)🤠?
The Base App replaces the Coinbase Wallet app (for beta users).
It’s not just a wallet anymore, Coinbase calls it an “everything app.”
INTEGRATED FEATURES♻️
The app packs a lot into one place:
* Social Feed: Powered by the Farcaster protocol. Users can post, engage, and potentially earn.
* Tokenized Posts: Posts can be tokenized (using Zora), letting creators monetize content or get tips.
* Mini-Apps: Hundreds of mini-apps are embedded (games, prediction markets, etc.).
* Messaging: Encrypted messaging built on XMTP.
* Payments: Base Pay enables USDC payments, including one-tap / NFC payments.
* Trading / Swaps: Users can trade or swap tokens directly inside the app.

There are weekly rewards for top engagement on the social feed.
Tips on posts are supported.
🧵Cashback on USDC payments is mentioned (for U.S. users): Base Pay will offer 1% cashback.
However, some of these rewards / incentives may be geographically limited.
