Talking with Sentient today about butterflies somehow turned into a perfect metaphor for crypto. Both move through the same rhythm: early spark, rapid growth, a phase of real transformation, then a slowdown before the next cycle.
A butterfly starts as an egg, becomes a hungry caterpillar, transforms in the pupa, then emerges as an adult. Crypto does its own version — creation and hype, explosive early growth, maturity and real adoption, then a cold season where things reset.
Once you see the parallel, the cycles feel way less chaotic. Every “winter” is just the end of one life and the setup for the next.
