Even the chillest of parents have so much to worry about. I hope you and your partner are able to enjoy the moment and not let anticipation and worry keep you from enjoying the now.
Alzheimer's is awful. My grandfather had it and my mom is in a facility with Parkinson's. Is your uncle in the later stages?
