This entire thread was eye-opening. I don't envy the needle that @dwr.eth has to thread to maintain a coalition on this app. Market perception can be brutal. It's astonishing that 8 years ago, both parties were skeptical of crypto, except when accepting donations—that is, until the SBF corruption was exposed. Two years ago, crypto was nearly driven out of the U.S. through Operation Chokepoint 2.0 and the SEC's regulation-by-enforcement approach, entirely driven by Democrats. In a last-ditch effort to win voters, Trump embraced crypto. His motives were greed and power, like most politicians. However, the outcome is that crypto is now being legislated, with the first-ever crypto bill passed by the Senate this week. Yet, somehow, through these events, crypto is now "associated with the right, and especially with tech fascism"... I don't follow the logic... My advice: stop rooting for your party and start rooting for liberty, crypto, and a constitutionally balanced šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø. It remains the last best hope.
