@borodutch, you did a great job building eggs. The project gave out free money and was a great onboarding tool for Farcaster that benefited users as long as they participated, invested, and held.
However, you coulda clearly stated months ago that specifically $eggs, the top app on Farcaster, was not going to be supported.
With pigeon, you specified the it’s shutdown and gave clear timelines and directions to how users could handle thier investments.
With eggs, you left holders speculating if eggs was going to be within the scope of projects that you were sunsetting, with no notice that users should unstake, and not buy any more chicken NFTs as the project was shutting down.
Users held in support and trust that if it was over, you would be COMPLETELY transparent about that. As the founder, builder, and face of the project, a clearer and earlier communication would’ve made a big difference in how that trust was handled.
I’m not saying anyone’s perfect, but you coulda did a lot better.
