Our second and biggest Rug Report yet, tells the story of the rise and fall of deOTC Platform. The presale funding round began in July and the platform was launched on Ethereum, Base, BSC, Shibarium and Avalanche as a cross-chain decentralised OTC (Over-The-Counter) trading venue. It allowed traders to list their tokens for sale outside of the open market, to prevent affecting the chart and on the surface, things looked promising. However under the surface instead is a story of the collapse of two $DOTC tokens, and after the chart dumped, the trading platform was pulled from servers while partner projects barely managed to escape with their tokens. The aftermath is a team betrayed by the developers Ian Cawrey and shadowy coder "Sir Topleft", who didn't follow through on their promises and seem to have been slowly draining funds throughout the brief life of deOTC. https://youtu.be/7z8FI0QVX9k

Hello world! Welcome to the Book of Rugs, a CTO born from the ashes of a rugged project. The community saw the promise and refused to let this one die, so now we're a decentralised and global team of degens who want to make crypto a better place for everyone. We're building out our site and infusing education with satire and humour. We have grand plans and wish to emulate the success of early pioneers like Rugdoc (remember them?!) balanced with the fiscal responsibility of managing the financial flywheel by generating revenue through our thicc and carefully devised Uniswap V3 LP's. Been rugged? We want to hear your stories, offer solidarity, and learn from our mistakes. Want to avoid being rugged? We want to help you. It's early days but we are helmed by an experienced team of OG's and degens, who have seen every dirty trick under the sun and want to share our wisdom.
