He’s just being direct, and that doesn’t make him a bad person; it allows him to set boundaries. His comment demonstrates confidence, which is exactly what I want to see in true builders. Rather than speaking from a position of power, he is literally encouraging people to explore other clients that might better suit their needs and wants or to go out and build something themselves. To me, this sounds more like he is promoting collaboration instead of dominance. I think people are being a bit too sensitive about this
