Ease is often viewed with suspicion. If you didn't bleed for it, do you really deserve it? If something came to you without tears, people question its value.

I've heard people say things like,

'If it was easy, everyone would have it'

as if ease is an insult, not a blessing.

And it's wild, because while we criticize systems that make life harder, we also glorify the hardship we've gone through. It's almost like we don't know who we are without struggle. Like suffering has become a personality trait.
