I love film photography. I don’t love $200-250 invoices from the lab every couple months. I could have bought a pretty nice digital for all the development costs. My worry with digital is it will be too much. I (know) I won’t spend the time on composition with digital and will end up curating through lots of shots to find one that works. Seems like more work than just taking the time to make good shots in the first place. It’s just the expenses are getting hard to justify. I just ordered a roll of the new Kodak ektacolor 800 and it was 28.00 with my lab membership discount. By the time that’s developed it’ll be over $50 for the roll. Man, that looks even worse after typing it out.
