it depends. airdrops are the reward to users for using the product. that's why contributors (on github or social ones) are getting the most of it - what else they're going to do with tokens if some day they'll receive sum equal to the annual salary sometimes. however Layer Zero had good approach to that. Or Optimism. They've distributed airdrops through months or even years, making it little by little but steady. there're levels of how user been useful for project. % of tokenomics and unlock of that post tge can be applied too. but in short - if you give out a big sum, don't espect anyone to hold it. from the project side - it's mandatory to force users continue to use the product, and if there's a token - the process is cruicial. in Farcaster it's good to see rewarding campaigns. Really good vector. If you want you can come and earn. Good for both sides. KaitoAI is from that category too. But again - giving a lot at once is filling people's stomach rapidly. For progress it's much better to keep hunger
