Had lunch in Singapore today with a billionaire investor. Midway through, he asked me a question to probably test my intelligence and reasoning skills. His question:
“How many windows do you think there are in all the buildings in Singapore?”
I thought this was a very fascinating question and it got me thinking and making rough estimates to get some ballpark numbers. I ended up with a number that in retrospect was too optimistic.
What’s the most interesting “curveball” question that you have ever been asked - in an interview or over lunch?
