Base is L2 - using Ethereum which is the L1. @vitalik.eth was explaining this to you in a simple example. Consider alternatively, "California's GDP is increasing exponentially! They have flipped the US FED" That is never going to be possible. Remember you are using ETH for TXNs! Base is DEFINITELY #BASED though!
