I’m in 10th grade and just finished my first ever hackathon HackWithUttarPradesh at Chandigarh University.
I thought it was just about coding, but bro, it’s much more.
The theme was Blockchain, and those 24 hours felt like a mini startup journey.
No sleep, crazy ideas, random bugs, and that one perfect moment when everything finally runs — pure joy.
First thing I learned — go with clarity.
Know what you’re building, why, and how. Confusion wastes more time than bugs ever could.
And team… that’s everything.
Backend, frontend, design, presentation — when everyone gives their best, it just works.
Pitching in front of judges was wild.
All those questions made me realize — if you don’t believe in your idea, no one will.
And yeah, don’t treat your hackathon project like a small task.
Treat it like your first startup MVP.
Came back tired, low on sleep, but high on learning.
Hackathons don’t just test what you know — they show what you’re capable of.
Just the beginning 🚀
