I filed provisional and then didn’t have the $ to do the full patent at the time

Looking back I don’t think our tech was defensible. I wish I felt like I could have an unbiased source to say if you should/shouldn’t file. Many lawyers just want the billable hours imo so they’ll say yes

yeah tbh feels like the way to go is sell a product and patent only after traction defensively if you can afford the capital waste

in reality if someone wants to copy you they'll find a way
