summer running rule of thumb for me: no outdoor running when uv index is >2. this means only early morning or evening runs. running with sunscreen caused me to break out badly last year so im being extra cautious this year. also trying to avoid getting sunburnt in general.

wait how did running with sunscreen affect you, is it bad? i dont run a lot but never thought of it

yes. clogged pores from product, sweat, friction if you wear a cap, not washing your face immediately after a run but in general i got so traumatised by the breakout that i just never run outdoors with sunscreen anymore

have you seen the ones that are specific for the face and are like more absorbant i hate sun/sunscreen ngl i guess if its really hot anything u put on your face / skin will prob be an issue

yes i used the non-clogging, sweat resistant one but broke out nevertheless though i apply sunscreen generally. i also wipe off my sunscreen before a run too if i happen to run after work
