Man, building new things is always, always hard, and never obvious. Even the humble typewriter took 7 years of dead ends, back tracking, and prototypes that today would seem downright insane, all to arrive at V1. Just keep trucking. (Photos and story from Shift Happens book)

What a milestone. Just tried the @base.base.eth merch store. Bought low dollar amount clothes using USDC on my phone, and it just worked. Not like, "cool, this worked for a crypto thing." Like, it actually just worked. As good as any web2 payment experience, with no visa fees required! It took 15 years but we're finally here.

We hired an agency to help manage paid spend, with an internal resource overseeing then. I think the internal management is key. Overall the arrangement has worked so far.
