how I’m currently thinking about Ethereum and $ETH the asset if the goal is to market Ethereum to as many people as possible, then focusing too much on technicalities outside of ETH (the asset) instead of its long term monetary performance may be shooting ourselves in the foot. yes, price talk can feel vapid and against the culture. but price is crypto’s biggest Trojan horse. “ultrasound money” was the perfect example. it pulled people in through a simple, emotionally resonant meme, then many of those people became deeply convicted ethereans beyond the meme itself. attention needs a funnel. at the top of the funnel, we should probably concede a little and talk more about ETH the asset. then Ethereum’s deeper culture, decentralization, censorship resistance, and infinite nerd snipes can take it from there. starting the funnel with “decentralization” and “censorship resistance” is a much steeper climb.
