K-12 teachers already had a dry run of being replaced during COVID, and everyone learned very quickly that they need babysitters to watch kids while the rest of the population works Along with that, it became apparent that maybe 10% of any given class is intrinsically motivated enough to complete independent work themselves - those are the ones that could learn from a ChatGPT or khan academy and complete all their work I am very confident k-12 teachers won’t be replaced by AI; physical supervision of kids by itself just can’t be replicated
