Good find! Synesthesia underlies many delightful phenomena (auras and synesthesia are also a fun rabbit hole) Similarly olfaction is probably the most under appreciated sense from an impact perspective.

Kobilka and Lefkowitz’s work on the wobble in GPCR conformation. That there was wobble in the canonical pathway helped me work through paradoxical findings in the satiation cascade. More importantly, reading their work was the final unlock for my own understanding that physics begets chemistry begets biology.
