I first learned about IPFS because I was looking for a way to back up some old photos and files without handing them all over to a big cloud provider. Later, I found out it’s not just for storage—you can build websites, share content, and even some people are using it for distributed applications. What’s cool is that it aligns with a lot of Web3 ideas, like decentralization and user control.
