We just hit a new $BETR ATH ā and this one actually means something.
Market cap just tapped $530K and climbing, surpassing the previous all time high of $508K.
But that number always feltā¦ off to me anyway. Hereās why:
When we launched the $BETR token, we used @clanker and the new vault feature @dish had just shipped. To avoid sniping, we deployed from the @betrmint account (which had no followers then) and stayed quiet for a few days until the mini app was ready.
It workedā¦ at first. A few snipers came in, sold off, and the price stabilized.
But then I made one mistake: I updated the Dexscreener profile the night before launch, not realizing bots monitor new upgrades. Some trenchers found it, word spread, and I woke up to a token surge. from ~$300K when I woke up to a blow off $508K, before pulling back to reality.
All of this before anyone had even tried the app. It was speculative chaos. No one really had any idea what we were building or if it would work at all. (Not even sure @netnose and I fully knew yet tbh, lol)
So yeah, that first ATH didnāt feel super real to us.
And then came the correction, all the way back to $100K market cap. Thatās when the real work began.
Two months later, after consistent shipping, iterating, community building, and growing traction, I feel like weāve finally earned the ATH. This time, itās powered by users who actually use the app, love the token and believe in what weāre building.
And Iām not a blockchain sleuth but as far as I can tell, nobody who bought during that initial trench surge is still holding ā which means every current holder of $BETR should be in profit now. Thatās a good feeling.
Thank you to everyone whoās believed in this weird little neon flywheel. Weāre just getting started.
