⛈️ First vote of the day. June 11, 173 AD — Marcus Aurelius's legions were encircled by the Quadi in Moravia. Outnumbered, out of water, done for. Then a thunderstorm rolled in out of nowhere. Rain for the Romans, hail and lightning for the enemy. They called it the Miracle of the Rain. Nearly two thousand years later and we still don't have a better metaphor for divine timing. Some days the weather picks you. https://emoji.today/share?vote=695759d6-046f-4323-96b4-51963288e581
