I was preparing for my project defense in my room, which was scheduled for two days later. While I was alone, jotting down some points, I started hearing a disturbing noise outside my door. It felt like something was knocking, but I wasn't sure. I got up and checked the kitchen and bathroom, but I found nothing. When I returned to my table and chair, the noise started again.
One part of me urged me to open the door and check, as I had asked multiple times who was there, but there was no answer. I got up, opened the door, and to my shock, I saw a very big and long snake trying to enter my room. I screamed for my lodgemates to come out and quickly ran into my neighbor's room. Someone saw the snake leave my front area, but after that, it disappeared.
I didn’t sleep in my room for two days after that. Once my defense was over, I immediately packed my bags and traveled home. The snake remained in our compound for three days after it visited my room and was eventually found and killed. I was really shaken. 5 replies
