Some struggling projects use airdrops as a last attempt to generate hype, opening the door to almost anyone who interacted. These “broad net” campaigns do increase the probability of hunters qualifying, even with minimal effort. Yet the tradeoff is that these tokens frequently lack demand, causing prices to crash as soon as distributions begin. In contrast, stronger projects may be harder to qualify for but yield more valuable tokens in the long run. Therefore, while weaker projects are easier to farm, hunters must weigh whether short-term eligibility outweighs the risks of poor token performance and liquidity issues.
