some learnings on arb dev rewards so far
1) there's a clear convergence of devs looking to experiment and drive as many txs as possible to receive the weekly grants
I love the building and while in the interim more txs are awesome - the end goal isn't necessarily "more txs on arbitrum" - it's "more experimentation on arbitrum"
raw numbers don't matter if they're not part of a bigger story imo
2) because of the initial activity and excitement created from these rewards, there's a handful of devs building more sustainable long term apps/experiences that will allow arbitrum created mini apps stand out
I'm consistently inspired by a lot of the home grown fc devs who have experiences that feel 2nd nature to using the farcaster app and I think we'll have some coming from the arbitrum community that will hopefully fit right in!
3) I think the rewards are too top heavy rn - looking to push the arbitrum foundation to reward the top 10 devs vs top 5 and hopefully make the process of streaming the rewards much easier than rn
a lot of work to be done š
