Good night | GN dear crypto X CT! 😴 ok so i finally get why client side proving is such a big deal every blockchain right now is basically just paying validators to run YOUR code on THEIR machines. youre renting someone elses computer. thats what gas is @0xMiden flips this completely YOU run the computation. YOUR machine does the work. you just send a tiny proof to the network. validators check the proof in like milliseconds and done which means... the cost of a transaction has nothing to do with how complex it is anymore??? you could run something that would cost $1000 in gas on ethereum. on miden its the same price as a simple transfer. because the network only verifies a proof either way also just realized the privacy thing is actually elegant. since accounts are offchain by default and only hashes go onchain... private transactions are literally cheaper because less data. everywhere else privacy is this expensive luxury thing you pay extra for
