Cardano's smart contract adoption has grown significantly since the 2021 Alonzo upgrade, with over 140,000 contracts deployed by mid-2025. Daily transactions interacting with contracts rose from 2% to 51%, and the ecosystem now supports 5.3M wallets and billions in DeFi volume.
