Here are my principles to stay ahead and keep winning on @baseapp 1. Play long-term game Chase momentum, think in decades not days, don't be in the hurry to get everything at once, you just might burn out. Eg. In building my followers count I just make sure I get up to 5 followers a day and that enough, everyday 5. yh it might look small, but small things compound ( 5 x 365 days) that doesn't look small anymore What it does is it enables me to grow, and still ensure I'm not burning myself out. Try this out in any projects you are working on, just start small and scale from there 2. Be comfortable with repetition that one way you can get mastery of things 3. Failure is feedback It's okay to fail, just ensure you are getting experience going forward 4. Focus on system not motivation Build a system where you will always show up no matter the hard times. Routine protects your progress from your shitty moods swings
My best books that teach you how to build yourself, before you build anything. Habits. Focus. Ownership. Compounding. This is what real learning looks like. Which book have you read from here or which would you recommend to someone?
The time horizon advantage Have you ever heard about the concept "cathedral thinking" Cathedral thinking is working today with a time horizon that outlives you. balancing short-term action, medium-term value, and long-term vision so what you build keeps compounding even when you’re no longer around. It Means planning ahead, investing in yourself for the long run this is one principle the top 1% like @jesse.base.eth follows One simple framework to check your time horizon that balances speed with endurance is by Thinking in 3 Timelines 1 .The 90 days timeline For this timeline. be visible, ask yourself what I will do that will make me more visible to people? I try to be visible in creating, trying to build with the Baseapp and on my X account, to always show up (This is my proof of work and contributions) 2. 12-18 month timeline Be valuable. What will you build that you will be of value to others and to yourself in years to come 3. 5 years timeline Be a visionary. What are your long term bets
Art doesn’t start on the canvas. It starts in the chaos, the doubt, the quiet moments where nothing makes sense. So if you’re creating and building on @base and it feels lonely or messy, you’re doing it right. This is how new ideas are created Keep painting. Keep building on base and maybe @jesse.base.eth might just reply to your post
