I tried to make a trade today for some low cap coins using the rainbow 🌈 wallet. Here's how it went: First I try the swap feature that is native in the wallet to trade USDC on OP for LAI. LAI only lives on BNB chain and LAI chain so the simple swap doesn't work 🤓 (should have known).. 🧵

Then I decide to bridge my USDC to BNB chain so I can make the swap on the proper chain. Again I try to use the rainbow 🌈 wallet native bridge function (I actually quite like their bridge function) but was hit with "No route found"!! Very disappointing.

I then move to Squid 🦑 Router to bridge over my tokens, but find that Rainbow 🌈 wallet is not connected. *Sigh*. So then I go to Matcha by 0x and am able to transfer my tokens there. I try the cross chain swap on matcha to see if I can by LAI directly using my USDC on OP, but that trade is not supported..

I bridge my USDC to BNB chain and the try to make the trade through Matcha's market trade tool. The token appears and I submit the order. However, when it comes time to sign the transaction in my wallet I am hit with a "bad response" error 🙄 I'm guessing lack of LP funds but would love an answer if you know!!

I tried to make the trade on a few other DEXs but was hit with errors each time. Finally I gave up and took a break since I was getting annoyed 😂. Would love to hear anyone's advice on what I should do differently or if I was missing anything here.

Update!! I did the trade again on Coinbase wallet and all went smoothly. Coinbase wallet: 1 Rainbow wallet: 0
