ironically, i suppose that's quite ambitious.
PS: some notes to pre-emptively clarify some things that people might respond to regarding this mini rant lol.
1) yes, i realise that my perception of what 'success' was when I was younger was unrealistic and set me up to fail. today i define success as earnestly seeking a happy life for myself and others.
2) yes, I think ambition as a human trait has brought us a better quality of life and i would never discourage ambition in others. i just don't think 'ambition' as a social trait that is fuelled by a capitalist narrative of what gives humans worth is important for *me* anymore.
