Even worse, applications can be explicitly *harmed* by trying to shoehorn everything into strict global consensus
E.g. in DeFi, using a blockchain cedes privacy + ordering, resulting in MEV
Excited for hybrid DEXes (e.g. Renegade - p2p mpc trading network that merely settles to blockchains in zero knowledge)
