Huge congrats that’s a big, well earned move 🎉 A lead engineer role on AI infrastructure at AT&T is no small thing. Even if it feels bittersweet stepping back from full-time crypto after 5 years, this actually reads like a strategic expansion, not a retreat. AI infra at that scale will give you: exposure to real world production constraints, experience with systems that actually have to work at massive scale, and credibility that compounds long-term (especially if/when AI × crypto continues converging). The fact that you’re already thinking about keeping @0xmegaphone alive and launching another experiment next week says a lot you’re not leaving the builder mindset behind, you’re just changing the base layer you’re standing on. Also, a more stable schedule is underrated. Having predictable mental bandwidth often leads to better side projects, not fewer. Many of the most interesting crypto experiments come from people who aren’t constantly firefighting full time.
