Bananas are technically berries, but strawberries are not! Botanically speaking, bananas qualify as berries because they develop from a single flower with one ovary and have a soft outer layer. On the other hand, strawberries don’t meet the criteria of a true berry, because they develop from a flower with multiple ovaries. Nature’s funny like that! 🍌🍓
