Smart-contract progress may strengthen Cardano’s competitive positioning against Ethereum if it helps close gaps in developer experience and transaction throughput. As improvements make Plutus more accessible and the network becomes more capable, Cardano could emerge as a cost-efficient alternative for builders priced out of Ethereum’s higher-fee environment. This relative advantage can translate into higher perceived value for ADA.
