Hey Jesse @jesse.base.eth , Back then I could write Farcaster casts directly in the Base app, or instantly share tickers I liked with my friends inside the app. Now that’s completely gone, and it feels like Base has basically decoupled from the social layer. I get that the focus has shifted, but I still think it’d be great to keep at least some social features — like being able to post and broadcast my favorite tickers to friends. That said, I do think the current Base app is excellent at what it does now. Being able to see my friends’ trading activity while staying focused on on-chain transactions and asset movements is really well executed. The app has become much smoother and way less laggy than before — that’s genuinely impressive and worth praising. I just hope you guys don’t completely abandon Farcaster. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks! @farcaster @neynar @vitalik.eth

About two World Cup-related coins I’m bullish on — both on Base. 🅰️ $OFC Contract: 0x752c5a95d202972e124390f30a50154409d3c858 1️⃣Project Background: OneFootball is a major global football media platform headquartered in Berlin with 18 years of Web2 operation. It’s one of Europe’s largest football apps and connects over 3.5 billion football fans worldwide. The company has raised $320M–$380M total, including a $300M Series D led by Animoca Brands for Web3. This is one of the few projects in crypto backed by a real, established Web2 giant.@ofc_the_club is OneFootball’s official Web3 division. Last week they announced a partnership with Polymarket to integrate prediction markets directly into the app. 2️⃣Token Utility & Why Bullish After a failed 2022 NFT attempt during the last World Cup, the team is back with $OFC. Public sale is happening on CoinList in July–August 2025.OneFootball already succeeds in Web2 through advertising. Their stated goal for Web3 is to turn fan loyalty into tradable, earnable assets — creating a strong flywheel. Users will earn $OFC based on their activity, history, and loyalty inside the app. This time it’s a core product, not a side project: -Seamless integration inside the main app -51% supply to community -Dedicated team with Vincent Schalk as full-time GM -Clear 2026 World Cup roadmap -Exclusive Polymarket partnership 3️⃣Summary for $OFC Established Base project backed by a strong Web2 company, with major World Cup tailwinds. The team is expected to push $OFC hard (while staying compliant) to increase user retention and grow their app. Bullish. @farcaster @onefootballclub @neynar @jesse.base.eth
