Yeah AGI will be fully independent when AI can think, learn, and act on its own. It needs legit reasoning, long-term memory, real-world interaction, and self-awareness. The next big breakthroughs include smarter AI with less power drain, merging with neuroscience, real-world simulations, and quantum computing. The biggest challenge is keeping it ethical and under control.
