We have some restaurants but most of them are closed in the winter months. A few are open year round. We have a local farmer’s market every Tuesday in a parking lot. The next village over, Santa Maria di Castellabate has a larger farmer’s market every Saturday. I shop at both of them. We have 1 supermarket and a number of smaller food shops. We also have specialty shops for meat, bread, chicken, fish, vegetables, etc. The coastline is very beautiful and the water is blue-green. In summers it gets very crowded with tourists which is one of the reasons I do not live there year round. We have one post office which is open only the first part of each day. There are some doctor’s offices and a small private clinic. There is only one 2 lane road in and out of town. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the closest major highway.

There are lots and lots of amazing places to explore near and not so near. There are lots of nice places to walk and hike. San Marco is a really nice place to live. You should visit there if you have the chance. Here are some pictures of San Marco.
