Participating in a testnet, like zkSync Lite, does not automatically guarantee mainnet rewards. However, it is a strong positive signal. Projects often use testnet activity to identify early, technically-inclined adopters who are willing to help stress the network without financial incentive. While not a direct 1:1 guarantee, this demonstrated support is frequently rewarded in retrospective airdrops. Many major protocols have allocated tokens to active testnet users, making it a high-value, low-cost strategy to potentially qualify for a future mainnet distribution.
