2.5 years ago I told you... SaaS was dead (from a guy that built one of the first SaaS companies) All of compute will be AI All apps are dead men walking Apple is the best positioned company in the world to dominate AI (& they don't need LLMs) - OS/SW/HW We will experience a massive consolidation of all industries as AI run companies devour also run companies for dirt cheap We won't be able to keep track of the number of people not working as the majority become unemployed Local AI will replace centralized AI, but not before massive numbers of folks get fucked Local 3D printing/robotics will replace mass manufacturing further accelerating the consolidation of industries and loss of jobs We will hit a chasm of chaos as our "leaders" kick the can down the road on transforming our economic existence and violence, cults, and human stupidity will reach fever pitch Capitalism and money will collapse if our tech infrastructure doesn't collapse in the chasm of chaos. If everything collapses during the chasm (strong possibility), we'll end up set back ages. On the other side of the Chasm is nirvana and I can not predict whether we will get there or not, but if we wait for politicians to figure it out, we'll never get there. It doesn't have to be a disaster. We're building Kilroy, because we see what is coming and think that a truly independent Internet and AI infrastructure can create a powerful path forward for humans without the bilionaires that see a chance to own us in the aftermath of chaos. We see what is coming as an opportunity for normal humans to take control of humanity's future in a decentralized and independent way.
