So they rebranded farville -> Rise of Farms, a farming simulator game A very good look into how to make a web3 game without a native token. To start a farm, I had to pay $3 USDC. I could pay on a variety of chains, including Base Every crop / seed is then tradeable on chain for stables. I don't think I've ever seen a game put their whole economy plainly on chain like that It seems like actions feel a bit slow though? Not sure if its cause they're processing on chain on the backend. Also it would be cool to see how the seeds/crops are represented onchain (ie are they just data in a smart contract, or NFTs / tokens?)
