I was at my barber, tuned into a Twitter Space on Web3. He paused, looked at me, and asked: “What are you listening to?” I said, “Web3 stuff… crypto, NFTs, decentralization.” He smiled, kept trimming, and then hit me with: “What’s the use of Web3 in my barber shop?” I froze. All the big words and hype suddenly felt small. We say “adoption” every day… But maybe we forgot what real adoption actually means. That question’s been stuck in my head since then.
