Actually i didn't say that degen is bad. 'Fuck degen' was me overreacting — my bad. Degen is awesome, but the side effects is that bad actors prevail and this is what actually kills farcaster. Not the degen directly. Consider degen as a nuclear power. It's a great tech and probably the best source of power, but there's a side effect that if it's being used by bad actors it could end the humanity once and for all. Like the nuclear power while supposedly being controlled by governments is actually holding the world on puppet strings, the same way degen holds farcaster together while being the main reason it eventually dies
