The state of DAOs or Decentralized Autonomous Organizations in 2026 is uncertain. They are plagued by age old governing problems like concentrated ownership and disengaged stake holders. Just 1% of token holders have 90% of the VP. A mere 15% maximum participation rate among voters. Given this reality, decision-making isn't distributed. It ends up generating a central authority.
