It’s funny because if TikTok really was a national security / data privacy threat they’d be banning every app from a non US ally. Also the Biden admin wouldn’t have set up their own TikTok accounts to campaign during the last election cycle.

Then those people are ignoring the reason TikTok is getting banned in the first place. It is strictly being banned because bytedance headquarters is in China and falls under the domain of the CCP

The US is banning TikTok, so tens of millions of people migrated to a Chinese-owned platform. It's currently charting at #1. Americans are literally learning Mandarin and voluntarily giving all their data directly to China.
